The situation we usually walk into

After a serious weather event the immediate problem is usually access: tracks blocked, faces slipped, vegetation down across the routes you need to get stock, people or plant along. The ground is unstable, often saturated, and the safest option is frequently not to put a person or a heavy machine on it at all, which is exactly when the work is most urgent.

What we do about it

Remote-controlled machines that let us work unstable and steep faces without an operator on the slope, clearing vegetation and regrowth to reopen tracks and restore access. Low ground pressure limits further disturbance on soft ground. We are honest about scope: this is vegetation clearing and access recovery, not earthworks or slip remediation.

Typical jobs

  • Reopening blocked access tracks and races
  • Clearing vegetation and regrowth off slip faces
  • Restoring access to stock water, infrastructure and boundaries
  • Clearing around damaged fencing ahead of repair
  • Regrowth clearing on land that became inaccessible after an event
