Fence Line and Access Track Clearing

Boundaries and races reopened so they can actually be maintained.

Boundary fence line cleared of dense vegetation

What it involves

Clearing the strip along a fence line, boundary or access track back to ground so the asset is reachable, maintainable and usable again.

Why it has not been done

A fence you cannot walk is a fence you cannot fix, and it is usually the boundary fence that matters most. Vegetation along a fence line is awkward to clear by hand, too tight for large plant, and often on the steepest part of the property because that is where the boundary runs.

How we do it

We mulch the strip back to ground level, taking woody growth up to 200mm to 300mm, and leave the material as mulch. Machines work from as little as 1.4m width and on slopes to 55 degrees, which covers most boundary and race situations.
