GRazer NZ delivers expert steep slope mowing where traditional mowers cannot safely operate. Whether terrain is steep, soft, uneven or hazardous, our specialist equipment provides clean, consistent results without compromising safety.

From golf courses, parks and roadside banks to paddocks, wetlands, stormwater reserves and lifestyle properties, we offer efficient mowing that improves visibility, safety and land health year round. Our remote-controlled slope mowers reduce manual labour risks and offer a faster, safer alternative to conventional mowing and slashing.

Specialist mowing and land care

Our remote-controlled flail mowers provide stability, a light footprint and real efficiency, delivering a park-quality finish every time. They keep paddocks, driveway banks and sloped lawns in shape across commercial, industrial, land banking, civil and council sites.

Our equipment handles delicate areas like ponds, drains and wetlands, delivering results while protecting the environment and the people working around it.

Prequalified for council and public land

We are pre-qualified under the SHE Local Government Contractor Health and Safety Scheme, and hold Tōtika and IMPAC certification. That covers parks, cemeteries, roadside banks and reserves, with minimal disruption and maximum safety.

Commercial landscapes

From vineyards and orchards to development sites and golf courses, we provide professional mowing across a wide range of commercial landscapes, with adjustable cutting heights and anti-scalping capability for a consistent finish over varying ground.

What people say

  • The team at Grazer provides the best service I have experienced over 16 years of bank maintenance with long reach mowers, 4-wheel-drive movers, and now Grazer. They provide a fast and high quality result, prompt response to requests for change in service schedule, and great customer care.

    Andrew · Tauranga

  • Grazer sorted out our very steep, heavily overgrown blackberry bank. We were sceptical, but once the team got started it was clear that Grazer was the best tool for the job. The team's manner and prompt timing were key to a smooth process. We highly recommend the Grazer for those hard to reach places.

    Dan · Whakamarama, Tauranga

  • Dan did an amazing job at our property. He was professional and communication was excellent. We will certainly have him and his team back again.

    Wicked Machine Works

  • Dan has been excellent throughout the project, his communications and planning were forthcoming; the mulching work done is fantastic. Good care was taken for the land and surrounds. Highly recommended.

Slope Mowing questions we get asked

Can you safely mow steep slopes?
Yes. Our specialist remote-control flail mower is purpose-built for steep terrain and can safely operate on slopes up to 55 degrees. This allows us to maintain batters, terraces, hillsides and difficult terrain that conventional mowing equipment cannot safely access.
Will slope mowing damage my land?
Our equipment is designed to minimise ground disturbance and operate with low impact. Under normal operating conditions, only light surface tracking may occur, with no long-term impact on soil structure.
What type of finish will I get?
A clean, even and controlled finish suitable for ongoing maintenance, improved property presentation or grazing access. The result is a safer, more usable landscape that is easier to manage long-term.
