Jobs we do
Described the way you would describe it, rather than the way a contractor would. If you know what needs doing but not what it is called, start here.

The jobs that keep getting deferred
There is a pattern to the work we get called for. It is almost always the part of a property that conventional equipment cannot safely reach: the bank, the batter, the gully side, the fence line on the steep boundary. It gets skipped one season, then another, and eventually it stops being a mowing job and becomes a clearing job.
The pages below cover what each job involves, why it has probably not been done yet, and how we go about it.
Paddock toppingRank pasture knocked back to an even finish, including the steep bits.
Track and fence line clearingBoundaries and races reopened so they can actually be maintained.
Bush track clearingOvergrown tracks reopened, and new ones cut, without a hand crew.
FirebreaksFuel load removed and processed on site, not piled up or burned.
Roadside banksBatters cleared with nobody standing on the slope or in the traffic.
Embankment mowingEmbankments kept clear so they can be inspected, without chemicals near water.
Stormwater reservesBasins, swales and batters kept functional, including the wet bits.
Walking tracks and cyclewaysWidth and sight lines restored on public tracks, without spraying.
Undergrowth clearingThe strip under the tree line, cleared without spraying near the crop.
Overgrown drivewaysGetting a vehicle up the drive again, and a truck if you need one.
