What it involves
Mowing and clearing the batters, floors and margins of stormwater reserves, detention basins and swales so they keep working hydraulically and stay presentable.
Why it has not been done
These assets are deliberately shaped with steep batters and wet floors, which is precisely what conventional mowing plant cannot handle. They also sit inside residential areas, so they are visible, and they are on council maintenance schedules that quietly slip when nobody can safely do the work.
How we do it
Remote-controlled machines handle the batter angles and the soft basin floors with low ground pressure and the operator on firm ground. No chemicals, which matters for an asset that discharges to a waterway. We are prequalified through SHE Pre-Qual, Tōtika and IMPAC for council and civil work.
