GRazer NZ Limited (NZCN 8358025) (we, us or our), understands that protecting your personal information is important. This Privacy Policy sets out our commitment to protecting the privacy of personal information provided to us, or collected by us, when interacting with you. 

1. The information we collect 

Personal information is information or an opinion, whether true or not and whether recorded in a material form or not, about an individual who is identified or reasonably identifiable. We collect various types of data, including: 

  • Identity & Contact Data: Your name, age, gender, telephone number, address, and email.

  • Financial & Transaction Data: Bank account and payment card details (handled by our third-party payment processor) and records of services you’ve purchased from us or we from you. 

  • Technical, Usage & Interaction Data: IP addresses, login data, geo-location, and information provided via surveys, contests, or events. 

  • Marketing & Communication Data: including your preferences in receiving marketing materials from us and our third parties and your communication preferences 

  • Professional Data: Your professional history if you are a worker of ours or applying for a role.

  • Offline Data: This policy explicitly covers information collected through offline interactions, such as in-person meetings, physical forms, or phone calls. 

2. How we collect personal information 

We collect personal information in a variety of ways, including direct interactions (face-to-face, phone, or email), form completions, and job applications. 

Notification of Indirect Collection: We may also collect information from third parties (like analytics/marketing providers) or publicly available sources like the New Zealand Companies Office. If we collect your personal information from these third parties, we will take reasonable steps to notify you as soon as practicable. This notice will include the purpose of the collection, the recipients, and a reminder of your rights. 

3. Why we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information 

We collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information to do business with you, communicate about our services, manage internal record keeping (invoicing/billing), and for analytics and marketing purposes. 

Our disclosures of personal information to third parties 

Google Analytics: We have enabled Google Analytics Advertising Features. We and third-party vendors may use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) or other first-party identifiers, and third-party cookies (such as Google advertising cookies) or other third-party identifiers together. These cookies and identifiers may collect Technical and Usage Data about you. You can opt-out of Google Analytics Advertising Features including using a Google Analytics Opt-out Browser add-on found here. To opt-out of personalised ad delivery on the Google content network, please visit Google’s Ads Preferences Manager here or if you wish to opt-out permanently even when all cookies are deleted from your browser you can install their plugin here. To opt out of interest-based ads on mobile devices, please follow these instructions for your mobile device: On android open the Google Settings app on your device and select “ads” to control the settings. 4. Overseas Disclosure

We may store personal information overseas, including in the United States of America. We will only disclose your personal information overseas in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Principles. We take reasonable steps to ensure that any overseas recipient is subject to privacy laws providing comparable safeguards to New Zealand's, or is required by contract to protect the information. 

5. Your rights and controlling your personal information 

  • Your choice: Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. You do not have to provide personal information to us, however, if you do not, it may affect our ability to do business with you. 

  • Information from third parties: If we receive personal information about you from a third party, we will protect it as set out in this Privacy Policy. 

  • Restrict and unsubscribe: To object to processing for direct marketing or to unsubscribe from our email database, please contact us using the details below or use the opt-out facilities provided in the communication. 

  • Access: You may request access to the personal information that we hold about you. An administrative fee may be payable. We will respond to your request as soon as reasonably practicable, and no later than 20 working days. In some situations, we may be legally permitted to withhold access; if so, we will provide you with the reasons and complaint mechanisms. 

  • Correction: If you believe information we hold is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading, please contact us. We will take reasonable steps to promptly correct it. If we decline to correct it, we will provide our reasons and still note the request for correction on your file

  • Complaints: If you wish to make a complaint, please contact us with full details. We will promptly investigate and respond in writing with the outcome. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner (OPC).

6. Privacy Breach Notification [Mandatory Reporting] 

In the event of a privacy breach that has caused (or is likely to cause) serious harm, G-Razer NZ Limited will notify the Office of the Privacy Commissioner and the affected individuals as soon as practicable. We aim to provide this notification within 72 hours of becoming aware of a notifiable breach. 

7. Storage and security 

We are committed to ensuring your personal information is secure. We have put in place suitable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard your data from misuse or unauthorised access. These safeguards apply to both our digital systems and physical storage (e.g., locked filing cabinets for paper records). While we strive for security, the exchange of information over the Internet is carried out at your own risk. 

8. Cookies 

We may use cookies on our website from time to time. Cookies are text files placed in your computer's browser to store your preferences. They do not tell us your email address by themselves, but they do recognise you when you return and allow third parties to show our advertisements on your social media feeds. You can block cookies through your browser settings, though this may limit your access to parts of our website. 

9. Links to other websites 

Our website may contain links to other party's websites. We do not have any control over those websites and we are not responsible for the protection and privacy of any personal information which you provide whilst visiting those websites. Those websites are not governed by this Privacy Policy. 

10. Amendments 

We may, at any time and at our discretion, vary this Privacy Policy by publishing the amended version on our website.
