Mulching or mowing: which one does your site need
The most useful distinction on this site, and the one people most often get wrong when they call.
The short answer
Mulching is for woody material (gorse, scrub, small trees, regrowth. Mowing is for soft growth) rank pasture, kikuyu, grass. If the vegetation has hard woody stems you need mulching. If you could in principle have mown it earlier in the season and just did not, you need mowing. Plenty of sites need both, and we bring both.

Mulching
Mulching resets a site. It is what you want when land has genuinely gone (dense scrub, established gorse, years of regrowth) and the goal is to get back to ground level and start again. It is a bigger intervention and it is usually a one-off followed by lighter maintenance.
Flail mowing
Flail mowing maintains a site. It is what you want when the ground is still fundamentally in use but the growth has got ahead of you, or when a bank needs to be kept tidy on a regular cycle. The finish is even, with no scalping or clumping, and it suits a scheduled maintenance relationship.
When the other option is the right call
Neither is better, they are for different states of land. The common pattern on a neglected property is one mulching pass to reclaim it, then regular mowing to keep it. If you are unsure which you need, send photos and we will tell you.
