What access width do you need?
GRazer can access many sites with as little as 1.4 metres of entry width, and can arrange alternative access methods where required. That is narrow enough for a standard gateway, the side of a house, or a track between existing plantings, which is often what decides whether a difficult site can be worked at all.
Access is the most underestimated part of any clearing enquiry. People photograph the vegetation and forget that the machine has to physically get to it, and a large share of the sites that have been left untouched for years were left because of the entrance, not the slope.
At 1.4 metres, the machines fit through openings that stop conventional plant: a residential side gate, a standard farm gateway, a gap between orchard rows, the mouth of a gully. On Auckland gully sections in particular this is frequently the deciding factor.
Other things worth checking on the route in: overhead wires and branch clearance, culvert and bridge weight limits, soft ground on the approach, and whether there is somewhere to unload. Any of these can change the plan.
When you send photos for an estimate, include the entrance and the route in as well as the vegetation. It is the fastest way to get an accurate answer, and it avoids the awkward situation where a machine arrives and cannot get to the work.
