What can you mulch?
GRazer mulch a wide range of vegetation including gorse, broom, blackberry, kikuyu, scrub, small trees, rank grass, pest plants and overgrown vegetation. The specialist machinery is designed to handle demanding conditions across rural, lifestyle, commercial and council sites, processing material up to 200mm to 300mm.
The practical limit is material size rather than species. Anything up to 200mm to 300mm in stem thickness is within capacity, and that covers the great majority of what actually causes problems on New Zealand land: mature gorse, established broom, woody blackberry crowns, tree privet, woolly nightshade trunks, bamboo culms and wilding conifer regrowth.
Woody pest plants are the core of it. Gorse, broom, blackberry, woolly nightshade, privet, pampas, bamboo, wilding pines and old man's beard are all regular work, and each behaves a bit differently going through the machine.
Softer growth (rank pasture, kikuyu, long grass) is technically mulchable but usually better handled with a flail mower, which gives a cleaner even finish rather than a mulched reset. If a site has both, both machines come.
What is outside scope: stumps below ground, established timber well beyond 300mm, and anything requiring earthworks. GRazer will say so at the estimate stage rather than discovering it on site.
