Question
Do you handle large commercial and infrastructure projects?
Yes. GRazer regularly work with commercial clients, councils, contractors, farms and landowners across the North Island. Specialist machinery and an experienced team allow both one-off projects and ongoing vegetation management programmes to be managed safely across a wide range of site conditions.
Commercial and council work is a substantial part of the business, and the certifications are the reason it is accessible. SHE Pre-Qual, Tōtika and IMPAC between them cover most principal prequalification requirements in this sector.
The work splits into two shapes. One-off projects: a site clearance, a batter that needs dealing with, a storm recovery job. And ongoing programmes, scheduled maintenance of reserves, stormwater assets, roadside corridors or easements on a cycle.
GRazer work both as principal contractor and as a specialist subcontractor to a civil contractor, depending on how the procurement is set up. On civil sites the vegetation piece is often a small part of a much larger job, and slotting into someone else's site rules is routine.
Scale is not the constraint that people expect. Commercial mowing systems cover typically 2 to 3 acres a day, depending on the site, which makes large area work practical.
